SachsenEnergie goes West - Hydrogen and measurement technology at Sewerin

Gütersloh, June 6, 2024 - Almost 20 gas leak detection experts from SachsenEnergie set off from Dresden to Gütersloh at 7 am. The focus was on exchanging experiences on the topic of hydrogen. How does hydrogen affect gas measurement technology? What needs to be considered when hydrogen is fed into gas networks? What is already happening in practice and how can gas measurement technology be used safely? Dirk Abolins found answers to these questions.

Exciting discussions developed during Andreas Schweitzer's presentation on "EU Methane Emissions Regulation - Current status of the regulations for reducing methane emissions".

During the tour of the plant, SachsenEnergie employees were able to gain an impression of how measuring devices are produced today and what innovations have been introduced at SEWERIN in terms of technology and processes.

We were particularly pleased with the gift from our guests: the unusually designed plaque documents 34 years of successful cooperation between SachsenEnergie and SEWERIN. Thank you very much!

The surprisingly summery day ended with beer and burgers. Great that you were with us! We'd love to see you again!
